Jelly LA

What is Jelly LA?

A weekly excuse to enjoy working outside the "office," Jelly LA is casual co-working at venues around Los Angeles providing free wi-fi and creative company. We welcome small business owners and freelancers—from all industries—with pleasant attitudes needing to work, collaborate…or just get away from their desk for a bit.

Jelly LA: NOW EVERY FRIDAY, 2PM–6PM AT FUNNEL MILL!

Come out to FUNNEL MILL RARE COFFEE & TEA (map) for a relaxed, productive end to the work week.

Whether you're staying for an hour or four, please RSVP so we know who and how many to expect. Space is limited to 12 people.

Parking is mostly metered at 75¢ per hour (2 hour max) with a few free 2-hours spots at the edges of the Permit 4 zones. Get two hours of quarters to feed your meter when you RSVP for Jelly LA today!

Upcoming events:

Right now, we're in Santa Monica, but look out for more Jelly LA farther East starting January 2009! Interested in hosting a Jelly LA event? Thanks to the generous owners of Funnel Mill, JC and Teresa, Jelly LA has found a weekly home! However, as Jelly LA grows, we will be looking for event spaces and partners to host small-business-growth and industry-specific workshops. Please contact Bryan (bryan at mintreaction dot com) for more information.

About Jelly LA's Hosts:

Funnel Mill Rare Coffee & Tea — Specializing in rare blends of coffee beans and tea, Funnel Mill takes a great deal of pride in their craft, serving each brew in the optimal manner while educating their guests. They brew coffee one cup at a time using syphons, and practice traditional Chinese Cha Tao when serving tea. Jelly LA Comment: This is a great, relaxing space with plenty of plugs and power strips, soft music, great coffee, and a delicious daily-brewed tea.
