What's this "Jelly" thing all about?

Our Current Status

 

We're just getting started, so you can get in on the ground floor (sticky as that may sound.)

 

Our first goal is to assess interest: would you find it helpful to have a semi-regular gathering where you could bring your work-at-home self to a group setting? Although we'll be organizing Jelly in Roseville, our hope is that it will spread (spreading Jelly; get it?) downtown so y'all don't always have to travel to the 'burbs (although, it's about time, isn't it?)

I'm Joel D Canfield. I'm in Roseville. I'm writing a book, 'The Commonsense Entrepreneur' and I'm co-founder of the Northern California Association of Entrepreneurs, and member of a number of formal and informal networking groups. I'd love to have a Jelly that included folks from various disciplines (web development, writing, speaking, music and other arts, entrepreneurs) to foster some emergent happenings and cross-pollenation.

Hey Sacramento. I'm Glenn Weatherson and tried getting a Sacramento Jelly started a while back but nothing came through.. Glad to see someone else trying. I'm a fulltime and freelance web designer, always busy.

 

I am Chris and I live and work in the Natomas area as an art director/designer. I work out of my home, but once in a while I like to go to my local It's a Grind cafe for coffee and work. I was the article on CNN and it looks very interesting.

 

Hey, I'm Joaquin, an online content consultant for various health care providers. I work from home 3 days a week on our dining room table and it's driving my wife insane! Anyway, this sounds very cool and I'm very interested, particularly if it's in Roseville as I'm in Lincoln. Count me in!
